The climbing school
El Ocho Escalada Climbing School is founded by Erik Baquero. He is a very experienced climber and guide and is sharing his passion for the climbing sport for more than 10 years.
In El Ocho we make use of the perfect climate that Tenerife has year round and teach always outdoor on natural rock in one of the many mountains and canyons here on the island. For us, climbing on natural rock is the essence of climbing. Our objective is for you to feel this passion that lies behind the commitment, the fight and the feeling of freedom that you sense when climbing.
Tenerife gives infinite possibilities to go on adventures. The numerous canyons always hide a new climbing route to discover, because there is so much variety on any climbing level. Inside the canyons you will discover impressive rock formations and landscapes.
