5/5I have been to quite many climbing guesthouse, but this was definately my favourite. I spend almost 3 weeks here in a dormitory and cant wait to come back. The location is really good. You are surrounded by all the best climbing crags of tenerife. Having a car helps alot, but you can a walk to the nearest crags with a small effort, so its not a necessity. There are some buss connections, but make sure to check them out before hand. Only few busses per day comes to Villa de Arico. There is a shop nearby, some restaurants, atm and a pharmacy. Theres a climbing shop next door where you can get basically anything you would imagine to need for rockclimbing. The hostel itself is wonderfull. Theres a big garden area, bouldering wall, enough toilets and showers, its tidy, the beds are good, kitchen is good (might get a bit crowded, but theres another one downstaird), and theres multiple spots to lay down and chill or to do some yoga. The lockers are big enough to fit all your climbing gear. In general theres a lot of effort and thought put in to setting up the hostel. The scenery from the tereace is amazing opening up to the ocean where you can see Gran Canaria and the mountain range on the otherside. Theres a rooster living in neighbour that starts to crow in morning/night, but wearing earplugs is enough to handle this. The staff is amazing. Elena is super and genually nice and she will happilyshare all the best tips on climbing in Teneriffe or for freeday activities.I didnt attend to the climbing school activities but heard alot of good things about the classes. The atmosphere is super and its really easy to make climbing friends. Shared a lot of beautiful moment with really cool people here.I can definately recommend this place for all climbers and other travellers also. Thanks alot!
